This is the fourth statue in my series commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the end of the First World War (1914-1918)
This piece depicts a young British pilot of the Royal Flying Corps who has returned from a sortie over enemy lines, he stands pondering the loss of brother flyers as the war drags on, his Sopwith Camel sits in the background ready to take him up to the horrors once again
Each statue is hand-made to order, resulting in a totally unique piece of art. Each piece takes approx 4 - 5 weeks to make and will be numbered and accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity
Delivery will be by courier and will include insurance
Powertex is an environmentally friendly non-toxic water-based liquid medium used by artists for making fine art sculptures, paintings and decorative objects. It is used with porous materials, such as textiles, fabric, leather, wood, fiberglass and other mixed media materials which hardens the materials when dry. Protective varnish and wax has been applied to the statue making it water resistant enabling it to be placed indoors or outdoors
