This is the Eighth statue in my series commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the end of the First World War (1914-1918)

The piece is called '14 - 18 A Last Read' and depicts a British soldier taking a last read of his letter from his loved ones back home before he goes 'over the top' 

Each statue is hand-made to order, resulting in a totally unique piece of art. Each piece takes approx 4 - 5 weeks to make and will be numbered and accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity

Delivery will be by courier and will include insurance

Powertex is an environmentally friendly non-toxic water-based liquid medium used by artists for making fine art sculptures, paintings and decorative objects. It is used with porous materials, such as textiles, fabric, leather, wood, fiberglass and other mixed media materials which hardens the materials when dry. Protective varnish and wax has been applied to the statue making it water resistant enabling it to be placed indoors or outdoors
